Hi There guys. Hope that you are all well!

A while ago i posted that i had problems starting my bike and then when that was sorted i had problems with the idling. This Blaster is running but i dont seem to have its full power. I suspect the power band doesnt kick in. Before i stripped the carb, exhaust and reed block it ran fine with its full potential power. I did clean the carb and set the needle tang. I dont know if thats the problem, but it could be a few things. Any idea what it could be. Please can you give me an idea of things to check. Ill go through it 1 by 1 and give a responce after every check! Thanks in advance!

Check:
  • Compression
  • For air leaks -with a leak tester
  • Spark - maybe replace the plug?
  • Jetting - what size pilot and mains, what clip position on needle?
  • Reeds - check that none of your petals are broken!!
  • Exhaust - nothing blocking it?
  • Air filter - is it clean and fresh?
  • Float level, if its too high, carb should overflow - too low it will run lean (even so far as spluttering at WOT)

Ill do a compression test tomorrow. I already have a new plug in. Standard jet and standard exhaust. None of the pedals / reeds are broken. Air filer is clean and i oiled it again. Ill check the float level again. Ill do all this tomorrow and give you guys feed back.. Thanks guys
