Plz Help.Oil Injection block off.

I am stumped. I got an 06 Blaster and trying to do the oil injection block off. I got the kit from Rocky mountain.I got the side cover off and the pump itself off.Took the plastic gear out from inside but there is still a piece that sticks out about 1 1/2 inches where the pump sat. it looks like it is molded to the case and the block off kit is flat surfaced. Does this come from inside?outside or threaded? I was using a block of wood and trying to hit it from the side the pump was on to the inside but did not want to break anything so I stopped.

Thanks it took me about 2 hours of researching to find out how it came out. Good thing I stopped trying to pound it through opposite of how he did it. Definitely would have broke something. I took a big pair of pliers and got it to spin and pulled it out then.
