hey guys well like i said i cant really tell plugs chops if its rich or lean looks the same always . well i did one today to show u guys how the plug looks like first let me tell u how i did the procedure . first of all im running 155 main and 40 pilot and the blaster is completely stock just 28mm keihin carb and open lid air filter box . ok so i ran the blasty around for about 10 min let it get to normal temperature then i came home gave it a 5 min cool down and put in a new spark plug . after that i gave it a WOT run to 6 gear and left it at top speed at WOT for 3 seconds then put in the clutch and turned it off. and let it roll to a stop . i stopped and took a pic of the plug . looks practicly the same as i put it in maybe a lil difference only . heres the pics and also did i do the procedure correct ?

if that is a new plug, i want to say it is lean thought. but you need to look at the base, you want a tan ring around it.
i know there is a sticky about all this.

Yep u need to cut the threaded part of the plug off, or u need to use a plug reader, which is the tool that a doctor uses to look in your ears. What your looking for is where the fuel ring is on the porcelein. The lower the ring is the leaner it is the higher it is the fatter it is. U want to see the ring just above the radius on the porcelein

how can u say thats lean?? u cant see the ring and that what matters color doesnt mean sh*t unless its so fat its black

^^^ ya you can, use a flash light to help out.
but you can use a wiz wheel to cut the threads, but be careful.

shee is right its much easier to read if u cut the threads off with a whiz wheel

alright ima give that a try . i just changed the main jet to 160 seems to ride better lol .imma do a plug chop with the 160 and then il chop both of them to compare the difference il post up the pics

maybe this will help with explain

"how to do a plug chop"

1. Get new spark plug(s), but don't put them in yet.

2. Warm up motor to operating temp on old plugs.

3. Install new plugs.

4. Accellerate through all gears to top gear with throttle pinned.

5. When you hit the top of the top gear, hit the kill switch and
pull in the clutch.

6. Remove the spark plug(s) and ride home on the old plug(s).

7. Hold the new plug in a vise and use a hacksaw to cut the threads
away from the center electrode.

8. You should see a brown 2mm "smoke ring" at the base of the
white center electrode if the main jets are dialed in perfect.

9. if the smoke ring is darker than chocolate brown or taller
than 2mm, you're rich on the mains, but if it revs clean to full
throttle, you can leave it there and be on the rich side.

10. If the smoke ring is smaller than 2mm or lighter than chocolate
brown, you're lean on the mains, go up a size and try again.
