pistons

The same company that makes the pistons for Pro-X makes the pistons for Yamaha & most oem's. So you are getting a Yamaha piston at a discounted price. Forged pistons are definately a more durable piston. I have only come across one Wiseco piston with a shattered skirt. The only downside to a forged piston is they expand at a higher rate. Do a good job of warming your engine up before really getting on the throttle, and it will last a long time. I would recommend running an extra .0005"-.001" clearance on a Wiseco for the blaster. Hope this helps.
