Painting the frame

Sand blast it first.
Prime it a few coats.
Let sit a day.
Start painting with high-temp paint. (Automotive engine paint works best i think.)
Do a few coats periodically as can says.
Let sit two days.
Do 5-8 layers of good clearcoat.
Wait a day or two.
Rebuild.
Have a sick frame.
Have fun.

VHT mentions heat cure. Duplicolor, Rustoleum, Krylon had no mention of it, would have to look on can or search more. Equipment/machinery enamel is also option, tho limited colors.

Abrade surface between each coat.

Use just enough paint to cover blemishes after sanding.

Use just enough paint to give body and colour.

Use the least amount of clear that will provide coverage, using extra clear will cause chipping.

It does not get any clearer or shinier by adding extra clearcoat.

Abrade between all coats.

Equipment/machinery enamel may bloom after a few months and go dull.
