i go to silver lake a lot and i only have stocks. they dont make it too well there, but do paddles bog it down at all or even help?? and what kind should i get??

Silver Lake where? Paddles are good for sand. I've seen 6 and 8-paddle styles for Blasters, I think. Straight pappdles are for hill-climbing and drag, while slanted/direstional paddles are better for turning. Go to Rockymountainatvmc.com, they will steer you right.

Here's what I run in the sand. Makes all the difference in the world. I tried out my stockers while I was breaking it in and would have trouble making it up dunes. Once I put my paddles on I could go up any dune.

Here is what I run at Silver Lake on the Blaster.

These are 18" 6 paddle AMS Sidewinders. They were 32.95 each at Motorcycle Superstore.

Keep in mind my fronts are 19", so if you run 20" fronts these paddles will look tiny. I would say stick with either the 18" or 20" tire and 6 paddle. I think unless you have a built quad, more than six paddles or a 20" tire will bog your blaster down a bit.
