Only bump starts but dies after 5 minutes

I bought a 2002 Yamaha blaster and it won't kick start. It has compression but doesn't feel like enough. The only way I can get it started is by bump starting it but it dies after about 5 min. I've replaced the spark plug. The quad itself is bored out and has hot rod piston set up and a after market racing carb. Anyone have an idea of what's wrong?

sounds like it is running out of gas
compression should be at 120psi check it with a gauge
ngk b8es spark plug
what carb does it have?
have you tried cleaning the carb
check the reeds while you are at it
