old crank

Looking to find out how to pull the old crank out of the case. I have the case split but having problems with getting the old crank off of the fly wheel side any tips would help alot

i use a shop press with the nut on the end of the crank. whatever you do dont even think about hitting it with hammer.

How'd you split the case? Usually the left case pulls off crank when splitting.

Just grabbed a hold where the jug meets the case and pulled guess. I got lucky but the crank is still in on the side of the motor where the fly wheel bolts on. I can't stand forged steel. I have a local machine shop that's going to push it out for me.
