Oil leak

Yesterday i was riding around through trails and mud, and oil started coming out above the transmission oil tank. theres a silver rod next to it that it comes out from. Should it leak, and should that rod be sticking out?

there is no trans oil tank and you need to explain in english I:I

Yea there is transmission oil. Thats what goes into the bottom end. Maybe your gasket? Thats what was wrong with mine.

Only rod I could think of that he is referring to is the clutch...

your clutch gasket is wore out teplace itt

i know there is trans oil but there is no tank for it it goes in the bottom end.....leak could be clutch gasket kicker seal shift shaft seal.....or you may have put to muc in and its comming out the vent tube you need to look it over and find out where its leaking

I'm missing the oil pump hose, or its not connected. ill look later tonight.
