Oil Leak

My blaster was rebuilt yesterday, got a new piston and the cylinder bored.
When it was all together, i fired her up and let her idle. I noticed oil on the ground and inspected the engine, where the header and the engine connect is oil spraying, it's not alot tho.

Should i be concerned?

Did you put it together? How much assembly oil did you use? Did you replace the crank seals? Were the cases split?

Me and my dad put it together again.
We used oil to coat the cylinder and piston, not sure how much.
Yeah we replaced the seals, No the case was not split.

Should clear out after you ride it.

Some pipes use an o-ring between the exhaust flange and pipe. This is a natural place to leak oil, especially oil used for assembly. I think that is what Tim was saying.

my fmf has a o ring seal and i had my pipe on without the o ring being there and it leaked no matter how tight it was. so i put a o ring seal in and torqued my bolts to specs and now it dont leak anymore. but now i sprung a head gasket leak
