no or little spark

Hey...
I have a 93 blaster, and it was working fine for a while. All of a sudden I noticed it takes a while for it to start (i would try and kick-start it about 60 times before it would start). I bought a brand new spark-plug, and still the same problem. My buddy checked it out and said there was no spark, but sometimes a very little spark.
I was just wondering what the problem could be?? Someone said I might need a new coil or something, but I'm not sure.
Any help would be appreciated ... thanks

Could be a coil or it could be further up the harness.... Could even be a bad wire somewhere.... Best bet would be to find a manual and troubleshoot it piece by piece.

We had this problem once, and it was simply the spark plug boot had abad connection in it too.

Probably the coil. or like Tim said could just be a loose wire some where or something just check all wires make sure they're connected and in good shape.
