newbie with question

first off i must say this is a great forum with alot of info but i have one question:

why cant i post, reply, edit or search in the "for sale section"?
i can post in the other sections just not in the for sale section which is not good since i am looking for a few parts. i tried the "contact us" link and have yet to get a answer.
