Finally had a warm-ish enough day to clean up the yfz a bit. worked on it from about 11am to 6pm really trying to get it cleaned up before summer and racing season comes.
I still have front 1.5" per side spacers for a blaster, YFZ heel guards, and also found stock blaster a arms and rear shock that i want to sell. pm.
yup, its still a little dirty, i mainly worked on cleaning the rust off of places, getting the front end cleaned up, the swingarm area, and the plastics. drilled holes in my air filter box, and did something called the "zip tie mod" to clean up low end bog.

would you care to inform me on the "zip tie mod"? is it for 4 strokes? or both?

its specifically for the yfz's bog when you punch the throttle, when you do it bogs real bad and sometimes kills it. Basically you just zip tie the hammer in the throttle box to the piece that actually moves the hammer so there is no slack or pick up time.

yup, its been really cold here, couldnt work on it or clean it for the month i had it ... last time i tried muddy water froze to the plastics.
