need reeds but the closest shop is 50miles away! what can i make them out of?

ok so just for the weekend what can i mamke reeds out of that are some what reliable and what can be used for a red stop?????

i already did the old creditcard trick, it works great but after they get warm they stay bent up and wont close.

I saw a vid on youtube where a guy used an old credit card for reeds. IMO I'd just order a set or wait until you can get somewhere to buy them, that way you don't run the risk of having your homemade reeds break and screw up the motor.
