Need opinions with jetting

So as some of you guys know I'm doing a rebuild on the blasty. It has a pro circuit pipe, dg silencer, open air box with uni filter, and Vito's reeds. When it was still running I went to my local Yamaha dealer and they gave me a 260 main and a 40 pilot. I thought it was a bit odd. Also I'm in Vermont . What do you guys think I should be at before I put it all back together.

stock 32.5 pilot
start airscrew @ 1.5 turns out, adjust for highest idle
stock needle on middle clip
buy 270 thru 300 mains, start large and plug chop down

I run Pro Circuit pipes on two blasters with similar setup as you. I am in New York, one likes a 290 the other 280.
