monster footpegs....

i've seen someone in here who did something similar to this by adding an extra pair of stock pegs w/ bolts.
that's actually what i was plannin on doin, but my buddy gave me these pegs off a 400ex and they're much beefier.
plus they had a lot less material to cut off than the stockers.....
anyhow, here's some pix, first is a pic of one whole peg and one w/ the excess cut off.


then one w/ the 400ex peg next to the stock blaster peg.


then a couple of the finished pegs.



and here's a pic of my mediocre weld job just for shiggles.

Not to steal your thunder, but someone here gave me the idea of doing this a while ago too... Works good..Like the welding idea too.

I used all stock blaster pegs.. cut one apart and bolted them all together with longer bolts.. Works good.

yeah, my original intention was to bolt em up, but i figure welding would look a little cleaner and hold up just as strong.
plus welding is cool. it's like my buddies always say, welding is a first resort!
