I have a plug cap that i tested and it came out to be 5.6 ohms. according to the manual, the plug cap should be around 5. Is this difference too much? Im not sure how an ohm meter works, so i am not sure. Does this mean that there is too much resistence or too little?

did you zero the ohm meter before use? zero it by touching the + & - leads together first, before you take your reading. If it will not zero and it reads .6 then you are safe to assume that your reading of 5.6 is really 5.0

someone correct me if Im wrong. A good person to ask would be Roccdeezy I think he is an electrition.
