heres the real kicker i sold my blaster for 1500 with a bad carrier bearing and needing back pads( yes i told the person buying it). i got my 2001 416ex from a buddy needing the carb cleaned and a cdi box for 1200 minus wheels . i got wheels for 150 brand new take offs from a 450r . paid 20 bucks for a cdi complete stock carb and thumb throttle with cable( i needed a new cable) , 15 for a lonestar axle nut and spacer.

all in all i think i made out pretty good is the point.

its got dg nerfs, renthal bars, yoshi pipe, lonestar excaliber axle ,416 motor ,k and n filter , jetted , billet sprocket hub and holder, brand new chain , and im sure some other goodies so for the 1500 i sold my blaster for i basically paid 13?? for my ex said and done with a clean title . the thing runs amazing although i could do some more tweeking and up the pilot to a 42 . Its definatly an upgrade. i loved my blaster but to build it to my liking would have cost a fortune.

i will probably buy another blaster by the summer to ride the dunes at this nj spot. as soon as i bought my ex i started seeing fully built blasters going for 1300 to 1400 on craigslist.

god diesel! .80 over? i'd have kept the blaster myself, but that's not me putting 400's down. i like them, but that one there has to be on its last legs.

nice looks like you have a good bike lots of life left in the motor tho. those thing are bullet proof when taken care of. you can still punch it out to a 426 also. I made the trade to a 400ex as well. but didn't get as good a deal swapped a freshly rebuilt from top to bottom blaster for a basket case / roller 400ex that i am just now finishing the rather pricey rebuild on. should be rideing the thing for the first time this coming weekend.B)

not justiflying anything other than the the fact my blaster was small and needed more work than i could afford right now with my 3 month old son ... not to mention all my friends rode 4pokes. id love another blaster mainly one thats fully built but for now ill take my honda

I'll admit it...the 400ex is a nice bike. But I'll smoke'em all day long, lol. I would love to get a roller for a blaster motor to go into..
