My buddy bought 2000 blaster, it has no rev issue like a lot of other posts. We cleaned carb, same no rev. Took of the muffler, bike reved like it should. Muffler was full of water and oil like crazy. It was a stock muffer, so we put my stock muffer on and the bike ran like it should. My muffler weight about 2lb, his felt like 3 with the build up inside it. Not sure were the gunk came from as of yet, but maybe this will help others out with same symptoms
