How long do you ride before letting the engine cool off?

Just wondering how long you guys ride for before turning blaster off for a cool down? I seem to spend as much time riding as i do cooling off.. this the norm for 2 strokes?

I just ride until I'm done. Hours on end. No problems. It will get a chance to cool down when the snow is flying this winter.

Stop worrying about cool down time and ride that thing. As long as jetting is correct, no leaks in motor, and you are moving while running and not stopped then you should have no worries riding it like it was designed to be ridden.

Ditto on Dualstroke. You will only need to cool down if you have an airleak and/or your jetting if too lean. You better do a leak test and sort it out!

I was led to believe you cant ride 2 strokes like you can 4 strokes all day without letting cool down for abit

I will leak test and plug chop before next ride

Well the answer to the question depends on how long before it blows up or runs out of gas :-D

A quick check with an infered thermomiter will also help.

Must be a myth created by 4pokes so they have a chance to catch up
