Got my new gas tank

I got some heat shield today to put on my tank to protect it from the pipe.
And some pictures.

I used a washer under the tank on the 2 back mounts under the seat. I did not use spacers under the front of the tank because I did not want the light mount on the steering stem to hit the tank when I turn tight, it is close.

The maier front racing hood did not fit as good with the tank, and if I put a washer under the front mounts of the tank the holes on the hood were off even more.

And the FN holes for the petcock were to small and to close and I had to open it up with a die grinder. THE PART THAT GOES IN THE TANK WITH THE 2 FILTERS

The gas caps are different.X(

The yamaha gas cap will fit the IMS tank very loosely and the IMS gas cap will NOT fit the yamaha tank.

I'm glad I never got a fancy and pricey Billet aluminum gas cap for the old tank.

Got some pictures of the new banshee petcock and wow look at the end for the fuel line, it's a big 5/16, not 3/16 like the stock blaster petcock.I:I

Look at the difference in the fuel line end on the banshee and blaster petcock!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't think volume would normally be a problem, but I might get one anyway cuz then it would better match the inlet on the 34PJ carb. It sure would make fuel line sizing easier.
