installed fmf sst pipe came with a spring. Were to you install the spring as there is now were on the jug to attach the spring

right in the front of the cylinder above the exhaust port and under the head is where most guys hook it
if there is not a spot for it on the exhaust flange just hook into the fins of the cylinder right in the front
^^^^ yep, you can hook it between the cooling fins. It's kinda hard to see so get some light in there and have a good look. I can snap a pic if you need to see where I hooked mine.
