fmf exhuast

ok
so i bought a full fmf exhaust system
now, i took my stock system off and already noticed the problem,
there is not mounting bracket on the FMF pipe
so my solution was to cut the one on the old one in half, fit it around the new pipe and weld it back together

now my next problem,
the end of the old pipe that connects to the head is not nearly as thick as the one on the new one so, my previous idea will not work as the lugs that come from the engine, so you can secure the mounting bracket on will, not be long enough

so my question
how do i get my new pipe on?
is there a collar that i can buy to do so?
or another special mounting bracket?

Your supposed to have an exhaust flange for it. Its held on the pipe by a spring and bolts onto the engine.
