flywheel problems

hi recently rebuilt blaster and when i went to start it wouldnt start , took the flywheel from brothers blaster and first kick away it goes, we took 3 of the magnets off the flywheel and think we put them on wrong .would a flywheel of another 2 stroke bike be the same aslong as they both weighed the same? only getting used to working on these bikes.

has to be a blaster flywheel, any year will work
maybe you put the magnets in the wrong direction ?
having all the north/south poles of the magnet in the correct position matters

yea i was hoping ic ould have taken one from a 2 stroke dirt bike and hopefully work cant find a flywheel for sale.how would you work out the direction of the magnets ?thanks for the help

As long as all the magnets are placed in the same polarity it will work, it will produce AC voltage.

how would you test to ensure the polarity are all the same way , pretty new til electrics on atv more used to cars
