MY parents said they would discuss it but i should be going to my first flat track race June 17th!! Its 1/4 mile track where they usually race cars but they will be racing quads that night to! I dont have speical tires or anything just running my Z400 the way it is. I saw some yfz450s and some other quads with stock suspension nothing done so i should be fine. Im going to borrow my friends go pro again so i will get it on camear and post the video! Any advice will be apreciated! haha here is a video of one class of cars on the track.

Thanks bro!!!!!

Looking Forward To Video Of It! Looks A Awesome Track Man! tracks over in the uk suck balls ! we only have 2 tracks within a 100 mile radius that let quads on and there both not suitable for beginners as there professional race tracks. not me as i can ride them no bother but iv seen a few bad accidents with beginners!

Yeah i haer you. There is a smaller mx track about 30 min away but they only have scheduled races. the real MX tracks are 90 miles away.

my advice is hammer the throttle, and go HARD into the corner go as far to the outside of the track as you can, then hit the apex and ride right back out to the outside of the other side if the corner. use the apex of the corner as much as you can and you'll be the quickest you can be. and if you get enough speed on the straight that you need to brake a bit for the corner, then brake as late as possible.

nice man! maybe buy a cheap lowering kit, and add more air into ur rear tires so they will slip a little! also dont make ANY RIGHT HAND TURNS!

Haha thanks! I dont really want to buya lwering kit because i would like to do a motorcross and harescramble yet this year.

Thanks alot!! The only trick for me is i have to skip 4th gear. So i go from 3rd to 5th. But if i can get it timed my 5th gear is strong without 4th ive tried it a few times.

ya im sure with the bottom end power of the z400 thats probably not an issue skipin a gear if you rev the f**ck outta 3rd, except it might slow you down a bit not being able to keep most of the power on through the shifts.

is 4th broken? might wanna get that looked at eh...

Im not sure if it is broken or if a a shim is shot or what the deal is. I have a buddy who rebuilds blasters and other quads like raptors and he said he would fix it for cheap. I also need either a new timing chain or a timing chain tensinor. I hope it will hold for this race. After the race im going to tear it apart and fix it. there is like some slapping noise ill give you a link to my start up vid and you can see what i mean. But it has alot of power? I havent noticed any decreases in power or anything. That noise just bugs me so im going to tear it apart soon.
