is it worth buying a new expansion chamber? or should i just go with used?

if you can find one used is good condition for cheap you should get it, personally i like getting new stuff. but i always look for good deals first.

I dont mind used pipes..keep in mind..its about half the price..

yeah a new one would be nice, if i had the money. im debating on going with fmf full exhaust at a local store new, or a new dmc alien full exhaust on ebay. the fmf would be $320 the dmc would be $270

TBH if you are going to get a FMF you are better off buying one used. If you are going to spend that kind of money you would be better off buying a better system like a toomey or shearer.
