dail a jet

hi guy new the forum. was wondering if any one has ever used a dail a jet from rocky mountain atv. I bought a 2001 blaster for my son. setup is toomy pipe kit, oil injection bybass, open lid airbox , toomy filter, 8 inch extended swing arm, 2006 hyd brakes. jetting is pretty close. Thanks to all you guys on the forum for all the threads I been reading and learning from.I:I

unless your in the mountains and riding in extemely different elevations, i would just jet it right and not get the dial a jet.

I would stay away from it. You can run lean without knowing by using it.

I live in Utah and we ride around 4000 to 7000 feet and I am lucky enough to live 4 miles away from Rocky Mountain ATV.

I run a set of them in my sled years ago and iirc, they were nothin but a pain in the ass....

just an fyi....
your jetting gets richer as the elavation rises,
less/thinner air at higher elevations = less air/more fuel
so unless your jetting your bike dead on at 7000, then riding down to 3/4000, you'll be fine

the safe bet on anything but a race bike is... jet correctly with a plug chop, then bump it up one size for safety
