quick question...in order to get the cylinder off a blaster engine, does the whole engine have to be removed from the quad? i have a parts quad im starting to tear into

You can remove cylinder while inframe. You can also change a piston in the field with limited tools, i:e cross tip screw driver, flat tip screw driver, needle nose pliers, socket and ratchet, (Make sure the ratchet handle is the same size as the wrist pin), indian head gasket shelac, cigarette lighter, rag, and a soft rock. Take a nap for 1 hour and retighten bolts. When you finally get home from what will seem a very long day, dissasemble as soon as possible, or you'l never get get that head off except with a sledge hammer.
