yeah i hear that cuz i tryed to buy an engine from someone that swore he had a 240 and when i asked him what kind of top end he had he said he didnt know but that it was bored 40 over i laughed at him and told him when he gets it right and comes down on the price to call me

I have heard tale before about a drag blasty that had 300CC's of swept volume. I have a feeling it was exactly one cc from breaching the lower transfer tunnels to be at 300cc's.

So, the easiest answer to your question is no, you cannot bore your blaster to 300 cc's

so i have to rebuild my top end bc my skirt broke. so is it alright to go with a 72.25 or 72.5 piston on a stock jug and gaskets. can i bore a stock jug that much. i bought a stage one and 2 jet kit will it be good enough for the bore. i know i put exhust on and put the biggest main jet and it was running sh*tty bc it was getting to much fuel. so i put stage one in and it ran like a champ till the skirt broke.
