cracked case....leaking!!

finally got it running!! Slight pingin from bottom end noticed leak
Crack where the cases meet!! Looks like sumthn broke and pushed outward
On the case few inches behind drain plug!

Any ideas on a fix??

Pics might help, I just used aluminum brazing rods to re-attach a broken motor mount to one of my case halves. That stuff is tricky to get the hang of, but it's strong stuff. And no welder needed.

Looks like something broke and pushed on case? There is no temporary fix, you need to split cases and look inside.

almost no other options. at least take off the top end and look down intothe cases and look for damage. Still you need to split the cases anyway even if everything is there and fine(highly doubtful) with it leaking at the case halves. Needs to be resealed properly and then leaktested when you put it all back together.

It looks lik an internal engine part cam loose ad broke your case. time to tear it all apart and look inside.

Cool I'm familiar with the brazing rod I kno how to fix the case.....ill crack it open 2nite ill keep it posted on progress......

Either a reed screw or a bit of the piston hasbroken off and been hammered into the bottom of the case by the revolving crank.

That case will need welding!
