clutch won't move

So I still have to get a clutch cable for my 96 blaster, but when I try and move the little clutch thing on the engine and it is unbelievably hard to pull (can't even use just my fingers) and when I see videos of it the people move it super easily...and when I do get it pulled (with a ton of work) it doesn't work. What's my problem?

Probably not a thing wrong!! You have 5 springs in there, and you can't even squeeze one with your fingers.
