i changed my crankcase oil and after i did that my clutch doesnt work. i put it in first gear the clutch just doesnt do anything

it didnt engage. i got it fixed i dont know how i did it but it works great now just like it did before
well it seems that i didnt fix it. i just rode it down the road and it started working but i got on it today and its doing the same crap. i could use some help
Only advice I and I'm sure every1 here is to adjust ur clutch. Idk how nd why the clutch acts gay from changing oil. Maybe changing brands causes this. I kno when I changed mine its started acting up. Like when the bike is off and in gear, i'd pull the clutch lever and it won't roll. But rides fine thru all gears. I didn't adjust it yet but I will on my next oil change. So yea duder u gotta adjust the actuator if its not where its supposed to be
how do you adjust it i have the one on the handle bars all the way out. how do you adjust the one on the motor
Na u gotta adjust the actuator arm on the motor. Its right under the carb. There's an arrow on the motor where the actuator should line it to. Look in the DIY to clutch adjusting u'll find it. But prepare urself for ANOTHER oil change when adjusting this. Or reuse is again it u want. U just will have to drain it
Also the brand is important too. If u get a certain kind I forgot which, it will F ur clutch up! Read the DIY u'll see what I mean
Make sure oil is rated for wet clutches. Using heavier oil is ok but because there is very little clearance between plates when disengauged it probably won't roll in gear with motor off. It's even worse when it gets way cold out.
Idk mine is weird. When the motor is on, it'll roll when in gear with clutch pulled but when motor is off it won't. So it must be somethin with the oil. I used yamalube 4S wet clutch
Use belray 80 weight gear saver oil it is hands down the best.
