Hello guys. I recently started a complete rebuild of my engine and all went well (once all parts were received) until we got to the clutch. Installed everything as per the book (verified many, many times) and then we start to button down the clutch cover, that’s where my issue begins. The clutch assy is rubbing against the clutch cover so much that when the cover is button down completely the magneto is unable to spin but once I loosen the cover everything spins as it should. I believe the screws/spring combo is what is rubbing. Well I think that is all the info needed. Thanks in advance for your expertise.
