clutch ball bearing replacement

So i need a clutch ball bearing and i found one at my local hardware store its a chrome one will that suffice?? same size 3/16 what about hardness? will it last?

I have some old parts at work that have them and are 3/16". I snagged about 6 of them last month. I have probably about 10 left. Ill have to see tomorrow.

Thanks guys, got them at ACE they are .20 cents a piece, they looked at me strange when i paid with my debit card .22 cents hahahaha

I tried Fastenal and they can get 100 of them for like 3 bucks. They have a couple differnt types though. Should I go with chrome or just steel. The steel ones are cheaper (only like 90 cents for 100 of them). However the OEM one appears to be chrome. Which one should I order?
