Would clear gloss over a satin paint look glossy or like crap ? The shade of rattle can I like/want is satin,but I'd like a glossy finish.

As long as everything’s applied nicely it should look glossy because of the top coat. Do a test run on a similar material. And if it’s plastic you need to use a plastic specific paint or it will chip and peel easy. Krylon is a good one for plastic.
