CDI mount

Hi all. Any one removed the headlight mount off the frame and made there of CDI mount? This is towards the people that have removed the headlight and voltage regulator and install custom fenders. Make a new mount for CDI. More air flow to engine if using a custom air scoop hood? I know and seen most of the drag blaster remove it.

Wow you are right. and mine is even cleaned now with out the voltage regulator.

is that a aftermarket voltage regulator you have? and the coil mounted up there also?

I converted to LED lights, so i had to change to a trailtech regulator/rectifier, and the trailtech battery that you can see in the front middle, its in the battery bag.

That is a nology coil that you see, and i also got a nology hotwire. Its much easier to get to my coil now, and easier to keep my nology hot plugwire away from the hot pipe.

I also have a backup coil in the stock coil spot.
