carb problems

hey whats up. i got a problem. the only way i can get the bike started is if i tow it with a car. it will start up and i will ride it for about 5 mins. ill try to let it idle and it will shut off on me. ill try to kick it over and it will not start. i tried tuning it and nothing. can any one help me? thanx

check your compression sounds like you need new rings or a rebuild....the reason it starts when you pull it is because the piston expands and give you some compression........get a compression tester and check that first

i just had it rebuilt i broke it in nice, and its still doing the same thing, but i let it sit for a while, put the plug back in it and it started up 2nd kick i drove it for maybe 4 minutes and then it died and didnt start. this blaster just frustrates me so much i want to throw it off a bridge

Have you tried cleaning your carb? Also your fuel tank may be filled with old petol?

Just a couple of things which may cause this.
