Carb problems/ bogs out

I just installed a 68mm cylinder and piston, it was running fine before i had the stock cylinder/piston, but now it wont run at all.. it will start but if you give it ANY throttle it dies out. :-/X( . Thinking it needs new jets, or pilot screw adjustment?

The first think you want to do is a leak down test.

Is the piston in the right way? What's the compression read? Do a leakdown test to ensure that its sealed up.


May I ask why you went all the way to a 68mm bore?

Turns out i forgot to install the reeds.. and the head wouldnt torque down properly because i forgot to put the washers on the stud nuts. and there was a gap between the cylinder cover and the head. :'( . Carb never needed adjustments.. it was just because it was running without reeds !haha
