burgard A-arms

i was wondering the factory a-arms have that flat thing that goes on end of a arms where it's bolted 2 frame. burgard ones dont have this should i take off the factory one and use them? i know a few of ya have these a arms kinda would like 2 know what ya did?

I didnt use any of the factory hardware. They fit tighter than the virgin mary.
