brake caliper

im having trouble tracking down a working rear brake caliper for my 03. and its got me wondering about the year; if im correct or not. the mount is directly to the frame, there is no bracket? is this indictative of any particular model year?

as of now i do not have pics to support the topic however i will post them up later.

has it got a master cylinder on brake lever at handlebars? if not its 2002 or older. if its a screw in rear brake cable its also a 2002 or older.

i can clearly see a master cylinder in your pics.

the rear caliper mounts on the 03+ blaster come of the axle carrier, and require no extra bracket like the pre 03 cable brake blasters do,
the 03+ bracket has the slide pins attached to it, and is usually sold with the caliper,

here's the best deal i could find on ebay for a NEW 03+ rear caliper.............

I appreciate the help fellas however I meant Im having a hard time finding a rear master cylinder* my mistake:/

most any master cylinder will work, i have a 04/05 gsxr master bolted to my 05 frame, just had to ream the upper hole slightly for the bolts to lign up

but the banshee master should be identical and should align with your pedal with any mods (rod length adjustment ?)..........
