Hello I have a 2004 blaster I did the normal break-in when installing the piston or so I hear which was run it for 15 minutes at Idol then shut it off for an hour then run it again for another 15 quarter throttle and shut it off and I did that one more time then I rode it for an hour then shut it off for the day the The day before yesterday I it out for for a wile I keep gumming spark plugs in like three hours went through 2 to 3 and while I was riding it sometimes it feels like the idle would get stuck in it would just keep revving high like the piston was gonna blow right through the head could not started after that then I change the spark plug again started up fine wrote it for like an hour then it just sounded like metal banging around at the bottom when I flip the bike onto its back wheels I don't hear anything The bike has compression when I pushed on the kickstart but when I kick it over pretty hard I had like a metal rod just popping in it like it wants to push through the bottom what do I have to do now? Any help please i'm taking the motor off the frame and taking it apart today so I'll have further details but any help would grate I'll try to post a vid or pics I'm new so Bear with me. Old pics when I did rebuild less then 5 hours

The first thing to do before you pull the engine apart is to leak test it to make sure it was airtight.

What oil are you using and at what ratio?

Was the cylinder bored and honed, ?

Did you put a new piston into an old bore, if so was the bore measured to see wether it was within cpecs?

Did you leak test the engine before you started it?

The heat cycles you did were not really the correct way to do them.

Did you re tension the head and cylinder bolts after heat cycles and before riding?

32:1 spectro gold 93 gas board in honed to a 67.50mm piston yes I re tightened the head and everything's tight on top I lined up the arrow to the exhaust on the piston in the rings were in line with those dots Where the rings go I never did that test you're talking about so how bad did I mess the bike up?
Leak testing, which must be done after re build and before starting

Pull the exhaust off and look up the port for signs of piston damage.

Also remove the reed block and do the same for the inlet side, making sure the piston skirt is still intact.

Just an observation, Spectro Gold is a 4 stroke engine oil!

Do you mean Golden Spectro, which is formulated for 2 strokes.

Okay I'll start on that now I was just draining the oil in there it looked burnt but there was no metal shavings or chunks
The oil you drain is only in the transmission.

The crankcase has no drain plug ( worse luck, it would save so much purging when flooding happens).
