after you get passed 2nd or 3rd and you let off the gas it bogs down down and is a bear to start back up. its like its not using all the gas its getting to the carb. do i need to re jet or what? but it doesnt do every time

Sounds like a sticky float valve. You're burning all the fuel in the float going up through 1st 2nd and 3rd, then once the float bowl is empty and the valve is stuck mostly shut, there's not enough fuel to feed the motor unless you wait a few for the bowl to slowly fill back up. At least that's what it's been everytime I've had that problem. My suggestion is carb rebuild kit, but you may want to wait for some opinions from higher ranking blaster enthusiasts than myself.
