Blasters won't start first kick

So I've been trying to tune in my blasters but both of them won't start first kick. One has brand new rings, 100+ compression and the other one is fully rebuilt. I'm leaning towards a carb issue because before i tor it apart it would always start first kick with 80psi. This all started happening after I installed new carb rebuild kits. Maybe I knocked something out of order?? Helps appreciated as always

good starting and idle are a product of float height and idle screw/air mixture

were they leakdown tested and passed ?
heat cycles and retorqued head/base nuts ?
