blaster runs wide open when choke is off

hey everyone.i have a late 80's yamaha blaster that runs wide open screaming when the choke is off. me an my uncle put carb cleaner in there took the carb off there was no gunk in there or anyting...we played with the idle and all tht...im thinkin the choke is screwed...any help lemme know.

you need to build yourslef a leak tester or buy one from awk and leak test the motor. I would bet 100 dollars you have a massive air leak somewhere.
