I have a Polaris Sportsman 500 4x4 that is fun to ride but I wanted a little more excitement so I found a good deal on a couple Blasters. One is a 1998 and the other is a 1989. Both completely stock and did not run. Got the 98 running with help of this site and some parts off the 89. The 98 runs great just having some problems with the lights. Have some cleaning up to do on the 98 and then I start working on the 89. The 89 has good spark and compression so I hope I have as good luck with it as I did with the 1998. Living in Spokane, WA and like to ride whenever I can so always looking for places to ride and people to ride with.

spokane WA? i live here in sedro woolley WA. just joined yamaha blaster forum, got a 2001 yamaha blaster with shaved head, fmf exhaust, itp holeshot tires, k&n filter, jetted, aluminum rims front/rear. asking my dad to exstend my swingarm soon. he also might port my engine. hmm and this is my project for 2010-2011
