Blaster Changes

Is there a good resource or a thread on here (I tried a search) that has listed changes to the Blaster from first production to the last one, besides the plastics? just curious, I guess yamaha went with the "why change what works" idea..?

in 2003 they upgraded to hydro brakes all around. they changed the electricle up a little and put new plastics and headlight. that's about it.

frame and engine, have pretty much never change?

Very few I know they changed something of the front spindles to, Thinking when they went to hydro fronts not positive.
other than the 03 and newer you can mish mash parts between years.

I can add that in 87-88-89 there were no heel guards. 1990 first year. I have the 89 to prove it!

different spindles from 87-89 also... and the shift star is welded to the shaft on the 03+'s and the tors is different on the 03+ and what everyone else said. thats it

well that's good, because i always see parts from so many different years thats not 2002 lol!!
