I Have Yamaha Blaster Bored 50 over boyseen reeds Fmf fatty Exhaust & Power Core 2 silencer I contact fmf To See What Jet To Use So I Used 240 Main It Boggs Down Every Time i Get To Half Throttle I Havent Changed Plug Yet But I Was Wondering Any other Thoughts That May Be Wrong ?

up that main to at least a 270, then plug chop to confirm
clean the carb good while your in there !!!

do a compression test and a leakdown test to ensure the overall health of the motor first. what does the spark plug look like?


you're going to need more main jet than that if I had to guess. I'd start at a 280 and work down from there.

If after jetting with #270 -#280 main and it still does it, try lifting the needle up a slot.

Sometimes the low/mid pipes like a little more fuel from the needle at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. A plug chop will tell you.

could the pilot jet be an issue?

i doubt pilot is wrong unless its blocked, on a stock carb, the 32.5 pilot is ample for pretty much anything, the carb is limited by the volume of air it can pass and so the pilot is big enough

Should be well off the pilot at 1/2 throttle.
