ok well i got the banshee. i know you want pic's but i dont have them atm. my question is that its backfiring so what could be wrong with it? is it just jetted too fat?

The carbs have to be synced. Star the bike and see if one pipe isn't getting hot. If so let me know and I'll give u the solution.

i meant if the prvious owner might have changed the timing and had a prob with it mabe......i know it doesnt have a timing chain....

well its got good compression and the reeds are fine. carbs seem to be in sync

So both pipes are getting hot. I had the same problem as you. One pipe wasn't getting hot so I changed plugs and fixed it.

Make sure both carbs have the same jetting and everything.

Other then that it sounds lean. Do you know what mods it has? You may need to play around with jetting alittle.

thats what i was thinking. im gonna get the stock airbox so it takes off the pod filters and that should richen it a touch.
