another dum question????

i was warming up my bike yesterday and i noticed it was leaking oil.i wasnt trippin on it but it was cummin from the exhaust flange thing that came in my toomey kit.it only dripped like 2-3 times but it was also running down the pipe.i figure that if i tighten it,that it will stop.if that dont work..wat do ya think it is?

Yeah my DG did that too (sucky pipe by the way), i just put a new exhaust gasket in and sealed it up with some high heat gasket sealant. works great.

Excessive idling pools oil in the base, then concentrates the oil/gas ratio. Hence oily goo every where it exhausts. Keep it clean by staying mid rpm and above, and avoid lugging, Ever notice lots of smoke after sitting a minute or two while running? Ever notice hard starting after idling. Crack the throttle and clean her out once in a while.
