Airbox top

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with not using their airbox cover, and if the seat is enough to keep a good amount of the dust out. Just wondering about the little things I can do with my blaster to just make it to my liking. Please reply with your experiences.

yes but you need to go up a couple jet sizes because of the increased air flow. 250 or 260 should work

Thanks for the replies! I was pretty sure that taking of the airbox cover would lean it out pretty good, I will probably go with some type of alternative such as what 79 bronco is using. Thanks!

you will still need to up your main jet. starts off at 230 need to go up at least 2 sizes i would think

ive never ran a lid on any machine. also never had an issue with it letting in too much dust or water. just clean the filter every once in a while.
